Submission deadline: all papers must be submitted electronically through the website www.ganepao.com.br until
April 10, 2010.
Participation and writing: the main author must be a health Professional. It will be accepted no more than 3 abstracts from the same author or co-author and each abstract can have
1 main author and no more than 4 co-authors. The presenter must be the author or co-author of the abstract. After the XII Forum Scientific Committee papers selection, the author/co-author/presenter will be notified by email. The list of the papers accepted will be available at the website www.ganepao.com.br at the under menu TRABALHOS ACEITOS by
30 April 2010.
Content: the papers, retrospective or prospective, experimental or clinical, must be about Clinical Nutrition in health or sickness.
Submission: the papers must be submitted electronically through this website www.ganepao.com.br. No exceptions will be made.
Selection: the authors of the selected papers will be previously notified for the Poster or Oral presentation preparing. The Scientific Committee is composed of Ganep Professionals and their guests. To get your paper accepted: respect the submission dates, all the content must be clearly organized, the results, conclusions and the importance of the theme for health and technological development of Nutritional Therapy.
Classification: accepted papers will be selected by the Scientific Committee as Oral Presentation, Clinical Practice Interest Poster, Scientific Interest Poster and Scientific Initiation Poster. Scientific Interest Poster will be judged by the Committee and will compete for prize. Clinical Practice Interest Poster will not compete for prize and will not to be judge by the Scientific Committee. Scientific Initiation Poster will receive the Committee, but will not compete for prize. Oral presentation will be judged and compete for prize.
Certificate: it will be emitted one certificate for each abstract with the names of the author and co-authors.
Prizes: the participants can compete for two BRL 1.250,00 prizes for the two best Poster Presentation, and two BRL 1.500,00 prizes for the two best Oral Presentation, as well as two honorable mentions for each presentation modality. These will receive 2 inscriptions for Ganepao 2011. The award ceremony will be at June 19th, 2010 at Raul Cortez Theater - Centro Fecomercio de Eventos.
Publication: the authors must agree that the papers approved will be published at the websites www.ganepao.com.br, www.nutritotal.com.br and in an indexed journal. The Committee is not responsible for uncorrected information received (Names, Titles and Institution).
Compliance: all participants agree with all information received when enrolled for the Conference. Failure to observe these guidelines may result in disqualification.

Preparing your abstract presentation(Posters, Oral Presentation)
General Information
The Forum Paulista of Clinical and Experimental Nutrition Research was created to stimulate and reward Research in Clinical Nutrition. The 12th session will be held during the IV Brazilian Congress of Nutrition and Cancer (CBNC) and Ganepao 2010. Submitted papers will be selected by Scientific Committee as Oral Presentation, Clinical Practice Interest Poster, Scientific Interest Poster and Scientific Initiation Poster.
The Clinical and Experimental research papers will be presented on June 16-19, 2010, at Centro Fecomercio de Eventos.
All papers must be submitted electronically through the website www.ganepao.com.br until April 10, 2010. No exceptions will be made.
With the paper accepted by the Scientific Committee, the presenter must register in the IV Brazilian Conference of Nutrition and Cancer (CBNC), Ganepao 2010 or in the II International Conference of Nutritional Oncology (ICNO). There are no additional fees for submitting your paper.

What is the deadline for submission?
The deadline for submission of papers is April 10, 2010.
Where do I submit my paper?
The papers must be submitted electronically through the website www.ganepao.com.br. Access Abstract Submission and follow all the guidelines to include your paper.
How many abstracts can I submit?
We will accept only 3 papers from the same author or co-author. The presenter must be the author or co-author of the paper submitted.
How many co-authors the paper can have?
Each paper can have the limit of 4 (four) co-authors.
Do I need to be registered in the Conference to submit my abstract?
No. But, if the paper will be accepted by the Scientific Committee, the presenter must register in the IV Brazilian Conference of Nutrition and Cancer (CBNC), Ganepao 2010 or in the II International Conference of Nutritional Oncology (ICNO).
When and how do I know if my abstract was approved?
After the XII Forum Scientific Committee papers selection, the author/co-author/presenter will be notified by email. The papers approved will be divulgated at the website www.ganepao.com.br at the under menu TRABALHOS ACEITOS, until April 30, 2010.
Can I choose the category (Oral Presentation or Poster) I want to submit my paper?
No. The Scientific Committee will select the approved papers as Oral Presentation or Poster.

Before submitting your paper
Before submitting your paper, you will need:
1. Contact: Full information of the presenter (author or co-author) responsible for receiving correspondence (full name, address, telephone, email and Institution name and address).
2. Authors names: initials and last name.
Example: Gonçalves RCC; Oliveira GPC.
3. Interested Areas
4. The character limit for the abstract is 3600 (counting blank spaces), Arial, font-size 10. You have to insert (glue or type) the text. The system will refuse a text larger than that, pictures and grafics.
5. Attention: once you clicked on "submit" you will not be able to edit anymore the abstract.
